Busy Busy

I now laugh when non parents talk about how busy and tired they are. HA! Now I realize how obnoxious I sounded when I was that person. They complain about how tired they are to a new mommy and I just stare blankly at them. Im thinking things like "Yeah My job/house/husband/friends/life is a lot to keep up with too. Oh and there is this little other thing called a BABY that I am responsible for". Of course like with all things its relative. I remember always being tired in college, Im just not sure why.

The last few weeks have been busy and the next few weeks are sure to be also. On Friday I celebrated my 30th with my best gal pals plus husband and my two best guy friends at Ruffinos...MMmmmm. Here we are after the meal feeling all happy and full of good food.

G was not too happy about staying with the sitter. She has watched him before but he is a little older now and was quick to let me know he was not happy about it. It took me a good 20 mins of holding him and talking to her before he would go to her. I secretly worried about him through the entire meal and wanted to get home to hold him.

The next few weeks are the annual Lake Charles crawfish boil, JBC Womens retreat, Mother's Day, and Baby dedication at church. And yes, G has THE CUTEST outfit for baby dedication. Can anyone say seersucker!
